Monthly Justin: February!

Ah! February’s post at last!

Despite being the shortest month of the year (even with the bonus day), February was pretty long for us. We were and are, of course, very saddened by the loss of Chad’s brother, Erich, and spent a week in Pennsylvania with family to start the month. While there, we visited two science museums to keep Justin busy. First, the Davinci Science Center, with it’s wonderful touching tank and eco experiments:

Then the Franklin Institute, one of Chad’s favorite museums when he was a kid!

Back in Salem, we had lots of unseasonably warm and sunny days, so lots of playing in the yard and walks around the neighbourhood:

During school vacation week, we went to the Discovery Museums in Acton, MA – one of our favourite places to play:

And, we got a bit of snow – even if it was short-lived!

Oops! Technical Difficulties!

We’ve been having some technical difficulties with the blog (and also with the genealogy site) over the last few days. I’ve got the blog sorted out, and am working on the genealogy site now. Don’t worry, the Daily Justin: February post should be up soon – sorry for the delay!

Monthly Justin: January!

Happy New Year! We’ve had a pretty busy & (mostly) fun start, so far!

Justin got a hockey stick & puck and has been very excited to play street hockey with Daddy:

We also went to the Salem twelfth night Christmas tree bonfire! It was a very big fire:

And enjoyed some unseasonably warm weather:

Justin also got on the ice for the first time and did great – skating with me and a little bit on his own:

And he got to try his skis out again. On real snow! Maybe it *is* still winter…

Monthly Justin: December!

So, clearly I’m not getting to these daily anymore. Let’s try for monthly!
