Spring Soccer!

So, in keeping with the sporadic posts (sorry about that!) I’m skipping over February and March and jumping right into April…

Justin started his soccer season today and had a great time running around with his new teammates! (Tamsin had a good time eating snacks and pointing out where Justin was on the field at all times…)

If I get organized, a few photos from the past few months might show up here, as well. Or not. But I’ll try to get to it!!

Video: A Walking Baby!

So very sorry for the loooooooooong delay in getting more photos posted – preschool is keeping Justin busy, athletic and cultural activities are keeping everyone busy and we had a series of delightful birthday parties to end the month of September. I promise to post photos of all that soon.

In the meantime, here’s a video of Tamsin walking! Eek!

Bonus: End-of-school Storyland trip!

To celebrate the end of the school year, we spent a day at Storyland – a theme park in Glen, NH. The threat of rain kept the crowds away and we got a full day in before the storms rolled in. A great day for all!

6 months old! (And food! And pictures!)

Tamsin is 6 months (and two days) old… Eek! How did that happen so quickly!?

She had her doctor’s visit today and is up to 27.25″ and 14 lbs 8 oz, putting her just over the 90th percentile for height and in the 20th percentile for weight. Long and lean, just like her brother.

We started “solid” foods tonight. Originally, it was going to be squash (as Justin wanted her to start with the same first food he had had), but the squash we had turned out to be past it’s prime, so she got to try carrots instead!

First taste!

Don't worry Tamsin, there are many other, non-carrot foods out there!

One Month Stats!

Tamsin had her one month doctor’s visit yesterday. She is now:

Length: 23.25″ (97th percentile)

Weight: 9 lbs 9 oz (50th percentile)

Both of which are bigger than Justin at the same age. Which explains why she’s outgrown a lot of the clothes I remember Justin wearing at a much later date (like, say, at Christmas!)

Tamsin impressed the nurse with her excellent head control and advanced cooing skills, and the doctor pronounced her perfectly healthy other than a mild case of the sniffles. Yay!
