Ah! February’s post at last!
Despite being the shortest month of the year (even with the bonus day), February was pretty long for us. We were and are, of course, very saddened by the loss of Chad’s brother, Erich, and spent a week in Pennsylvania with family to start the month. While there, we visited two science museums to keep Justin busy. First, the Davinci Science Center, with it’s wonderful touching tank and eco experiments:

Learning about crabs and starfish!

Testing out different light bulb types
Then the Franklin Institute, one of Chad’s favorite museums when he was a kid!

Up in the air!

NASA Mission Control!

Mixing in the sound studio
Back in Salem, we had lots of unseasonably warm and sunny days, so lots of playing in the yard and walks around the neighbourhood:

A little yard work

Favourite things: tractors and numbers!

Posing with our rose "bush"
During school vacation week, we went to the Discovery Museums in Acton, MA – one of our favourite places to play:

In the train engine!

Using air pressure to pop ping pong balls way up high!

At the helm
And, we got a bit of snow – even if it was short-lived!

Whoa! Snow!

With the rose again!

A chilly portrait with Mum!
